Учитель начинает историю, используя активную лексику урока и изученную грамматику, а затем вызывает любого ученика продолжить ее.

Например,

Учитель: Several years ago I was walking home from the theatre, I saw a large, white dog… Ann, would you like to continue the story?

Ann: It was trying to cross the street from the other side, but the traffic was too heavy. It started to cross several times, but ran back, afraid of the cars…

Учитель: Than what happened, Mike?

Mike: I yelled to it to sit, and it sat down on the curb. I crossed the street when it was safe, and patted it gently, while I spoke softly to it…

Учитель: Mary, please, continue.

Mary: As a I spoke and patted it, it calmed down and began to lick my hand. When the traffic became lighter, I led it across the street…”
