Questions

A. Why is it important to write your age in the resume? –

Possible answer:

There is no age discrimination in our country, but employers usually prefer young persons, they are more healthy, can work much, pay sick-lists, inexperienced, it is easy to handle them.

 

B. Why is it important for employers to know your marital status?

Possible answer:

If a young woman is married, she may have a child and ask for a leave for a child care.

If a woman is over 35 and she is not married, she is likely to be ill-natured.

 

If she/he has small children, they often catch a cold, and employers have to pay sick-lists. Besides, if a person has children it is more difficult psychologically to cut his salary or to impose a fine.

 

Employers prefer unmarried men, because business trips and long working hours are not for married persons. Besides, married persons hurry home after work and they are not eager to work overtime; at the weekend they go shopping and to the cinema, they are unlikely to spend their weekends in the office.

 

Married men are less prone to risky deals, more reliable.
